Photo Safari at Magnolia Cemetery
Tumbleston Photography had its first ever “Photo Safari” this past Wednesday and what a Wednesday it was! We all met at Magnolia Cemetery with our cameras ready, some of us even had safari satchels with vittles and survival supplies inside *cough* Lara *cough!* Magnolia Cemetery isn’t as creepy as it sounds… it is a stunning southern landmark in Charleston. Many Civil War soliders, including the final crew of the Hunley, are buried in the cemetery. We were there 151 years and 1 day after they lost their lives. For our safari, our lovely model Ashley did a fantastic job posing and dealing with twelve different cameras flashing all around her. She was a great sport, especially when we asked her to peer directly into the sun… sorry Ashley! Here is a little video and some photos of our adventure:
We really enjoyed our first “Photo Safari” and we hope to be able to open it up to the public soon for photography tips and lessons. Isn’t that exciting? 🙂 Have a great weekend everyone!!
Rest in peace Leonard Nimoy,
