Last Pictures of Summer

It’s August and the end of the summer is just around the corner. This year the summer has been different. There’s no denying it. We’ve been more isolated, spending more time inside, and most of us haven’t even thought about taking a picture this season. But honestly, this is a great time to capture some pictures and the summer isn’t over yet. Because we want to help you capture those amazing last pictures of summer, here are a few places we think are great spots for pictures in Charleston.

Hampton Park

Located right on Rutledge Ave, Hampton Park boasts a wide array of locations for you to catch the perfect picture. From ponds and bridges to tree-covered lanes, gazebos, and memorials there is truly something in this magical place for everyone.

Pitt Street Bridge

This hidden gem offers some of the most incredible views of our coastal waters and some unique pieces for great pictures. Located in Mt. Pleasant, this location will give you incredible natural beauty in a pretty convenient location.

Morris Island Lighthouse

This iconic lighthouse on the Charleston coast, north of Folly Beach, provides the perfect backdrop for any summer beach photo. As the summer days wind down and you find yourself looking for a beach outing, take advantage of this incredible landmark.

The Angel Oak

Located on Johns Island, this amazing oak tree is estimated to be between 400-500 years old. Its deep roots are connected to the history of the Lowcountry, and also provide a magical backdrop for photos in Charleston.
